Baby Name Poll

Well, we decided that it might be fun to see what all of our friends and family think we should name Baby Nelson. His middle name will be Jeremy, so keep that in mind. Oh, and Eli and Noah are actually already taken by friends or family, but we like the names and stuck them in here anyway. Happy voting!

Justin came over today to lay tile with Jeremy (and Noah!) He did a darn good job if I do say so myself. I'm excited to see what the bathroom looks like when its all finished (not to mention I'm REALLY excited to get the toilet back.)

Here's Emily at 32 weeks. I'll be honest, I'm pretty tired. I haven't been sleeping very well, and it makes me a little on the crabby side. It seems weird to look at these pictures becuase I don't feel as big as I look!

8 weeks to go before "Junior" gets here!

Jeremy covered in drywall dust from sanding the bathroom ceiling.
This picture doesn't due him justice - in real life he looked like a snowman!

With the sanding all done, it was time to prime the walls.
Since the primer was toxic and stinky Emily got to miss this fun part of the project. She did sneak upstairs to snap a picture, though.

So, while Jeremy painted Emily started cleaning!
She has been waiting to deep clean until the last piece of drywall was sanded and today was the day!!!! She did a bunch of loads of laundry and piled the warm, clean blankets high on the sofa...where Jonas found them and decided to take a nap right in the middle. Nice.

Hello to all...

Just to clear up any confusion, we are not able to get the "comments" tab to work on our blog. A few people have asked, and YES, we have all of our settings correct - Erica even checked it out for us. There is a message board on Blogger.com about it but they don't offer any help to fix it. I can't join the message board to get someone from Blogger to fix it because I don't have a Google email account. So, to make a long story short (too late), if you have any comments you'll just have to email us instead of posting comments. Sorry!

Thanks a bunch!

The birds are back!
We counted seven male gold finches, two females, a pileated woodpecker, a hairy woodpecker and a red-breasted grosbeak this morning. We haven't had any birds for a while so this was a special treat. (SO glad we put that patio door in or we would have missed it!) It drove the cats nuts, of course, which made it all the more entertaining to watch.

Here's a close-up of two of the males.

And here's the bathroom - WITH A FLOOR! We lost all three cats inside (literally) the house at one point, so it's nice to know that they can't get in the crawl spaces anymore.
We're crossing our fingers for the drywall going up tomorrow - but who knows.

Another view of the bathroom.

And Jonas peeking in. I think he's as sick of remodeling as we are! He likes to lay on the top step and watch Jeremy and Justin work. He's been known to steal a block of wood or two for a "snack" as well. Naughty dog.

Well, that's about it for pictures this week. Since I'm the one holding the camera its hard to get a picture of my own belly. Its getting big and I'm pretty miserable at this point. I don't feel good and my stomach hurts pretty much all of the time. The leg/foot cramps at night have gotten so bad that they make me cry. Pregnancy has pretty much lost all of its glitz and glam at this point, and has been replaced by paint and discomfort. And we still have 2 1/2 months left to go! Ugh. All I can say is, it could be a LOT WORSE, so I guess I shouldn't complain! The good thing is the lilacs are all in bloom and smell wonderful! Our neighbors let me steal lilacs from their tree in our driveway so our house smells great, too! I'm SO happy that its not snowing anymore... I'll try and get Jeremy to take a picture of "the belly" later on this week. Adios for now.
