Weekly update...a little late

Baxter "patting" Augie on the head.
a.k.a. Augie trying to get on top of the cat tree and Baxter
having a fun time showing him who's boss.
Well, its been over a week since we posted an update - we don't have much new to say! "Nelson Junior" is doing fine and about 26 weeks along now. He sure has been moving and kicking around a lot. He seems to be the most active in the morning and early evening. Sometimes he kicks and pokes so hard it startles me but knowing that he is really active in there is reassuring. Other than being crabby I feel great! My energy is back up, somewhat, and I am feeling pretty good.

The remodeling is coming along slowly but surely. It is a complete disaster upstairs which makes it hard to be at home, but we have faith that it will get better soon! The drywall is up in the little guy's bedroom but we still have a LONG way to go and I am starting to get a little nervous. We still need to put in two doors, put the trim back in the bedroom, trim around the doors (because you can see through the walls...) re-drywall the hallway and level out and re-plumb the bathroom so we can at least put the toilet and sink back in before the baby arrives. Hopefully we can finish the drywall in there, too, because the last thing a new baby needs to breath in is drywall dust! Phew! It scares me to write it all down and see all that we have left to do - so, I'll just trust in Jeremy, Justin and Kyle and stay out of it. I'm sure they have a plan...right, guys?

Jeremy went out to meet his mom at a few garage sales this morning to search for baby stuff. How fun! I hope they come back with some good deals! Its getting so exciting now that July is drawing closer.

The other "kids" are all doing well. The weather here is beautiful and I think its putting all of us in a much better mood. The cats are all crazy and would love to be roaming the streets for girlfriends right about now...me, I would love to be suntanning in the yard with a good book!

Augie getting mad. He eventually made it to the top of the cat tree.
